It’s not always easy to find a doctor while abroad: the potential language barrier combined with unfamiliarity with local health systems and providers can prove to be significant obstacles.
AXA’s telemedicine consultations service is available 24/7 in France and from abroad to help employees assess their situation over the phone and quickly get answers in their native language. They can video consult a doctor registered with France’s National Order of Physicians using a smartphone, computer or tablet. The doctor can issue a prescription in the European Union.
