Cope with illness
Critical illness care
When employees must cope with cancer or other critical illnesses, we offer them fully confidential medical, psychological and financial support.
This service covers seven critical health situations: cancer, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, organ transplant, stroke, coronary disease and kidney failure requiring dialysis.
Benefits of this service:
- Medical assistance: a second opinion (after the AXA physician opens a patient file, another expert medical opinion is sought), a gross lump sum payment of €3,000-€5,000, consultations with a psychologist and a dietician
- Personal assistance: 40 hours of home care (domestic chores, home health care, childcare)
- Social and legal assistance: presentation of social welfare resources (such as AXA Entraide), referrals to patient associations, assistance with administrative and legal procedures
A dedicated contact person supports employees during these difficult times.
